I am in process of applying for Registration and Passport for my child towards MN1 towards Section 1(3) using JCAP service.

I have few questions in terms of MN1 and Passport application forms :

MN1 Form

a. Point 1.5 - It says to mention Surname. Where shall I mention first name ?

b. Section 2 - Do I need to fill this as my child was born in the UK ?

c. Section 7 - Do I need to fill this as my child was born in the UK ?

Passport Application Form

a. Section 4 - As per guidance it says to mention parents details in this section. Also it says to give grand parent details in Section 8 if parents were born out of UK or details of parents claiming as British Nationality. In my case I have ILR and applying for my child based on Section 1(3). Do I still need to give details in Section 8 ?

b. Section 5 - As I am applying using JCAP Service at NCS hence don't have details of Certificate of Registration yet, in this case what shall I put in this Section ?

The next question, 1.6 'Other Names'.

Yes, complete it stating 'born in UK' and date born.

c. Section 7 - Do I need to fill this as my child was born in the UK ?

Yes

Passport Application Form

a. Section 4 - As per guidance it says to mention parents details in this section. Only parents details.
