Hello,
My query is when you have received your Approval letter for BC- and have been to your ceremony at Council then what steps to take. The Gov website states -below:
After your citizenship ceremony
Once you’ve got your certificate of British citizenship, send your biometric residence permit back to the Home Office.
You must send your permit back within 5 working days of either:
going to your citizenship ceremony
getting your certificate of British citizenship
Cut your biometric residence permit (BRP) into 4 pieces and put it in a windowless envelope. Include a note saying you’re returning your permit because you’ve become a citizen. The note needs to include your name, date of birth and the document number (located on the front of the card).
I want to travel overseas and cannot wait for passport to arrive so can I postpone Passport application and continue using my ILR Biometric card or do I have to send this card back. I am worried as if I do how am I gonna travel ???
Please can somebody help me and right steps to take after ceremony is held and you recieve your naturalisation certificate.
Thanks,

You BRP becomes invalid after you have attended the ceremony. You will need to apply for the passport before you can travel. If you don't return you BRP within 5 days of attending the ceremony then you risk getting a fine of £1000.

Have you attended your ceremony?
If not, I would suggest you postpone your ceremony till after you have traveled and returned to the UK.

I have already attended and taken my certificate! So the only option i have is to return BRP and apply for passport! otherwise I won't be able to travel. I was under the impression that I can apply for passport any time after successfully receiving my approval letter and certificate. !

Yes you can apply for a passport at any time, there is no legal requirement to even have one. But you need to return your now invalid ILR BRP to HO.

Why have you registered a new username?? This is not permitted on the forum and I see you now have 3 usernames registered to your IP address.

CR001-do people living in a same building have to have same id if they living in separate flats. For your info public ips remains the same if all people are fed through one connection- Your message is really strange and you have advertised all their ids here too. that's very strange of you.

Separate flats with similar email addresses and usernames all posting from the exact same IP?? The forum rules state that multiple user ID's are not permitted. You have responded as another user (theglorious84) to posts by black_hawk, clearly you are confused and are the same person. I have posted the usernames as you can clearly see if you click on the links, nothing odd about that
A simple response of 'sorry, can I keep xyz username' will have sufficed and it would have been left at that. But give your defensive response, you are clearly aware of the rules and don't like being caught out on it.
