Hello,

I came to UK in 2011 and after 5 years I applied for a document certifying permanent residence. This was approved and in my letter from the home office it states it was approved from the 15.09.2016, when can I apply for naturalisation???

I have already passed life in the UK and my English test.

I would really appreciate some advice.

You will be eligible to apply from 15/09/2017 , you need to be at least 1 yr on ILR visa. Hope this helps

One more questions:
I am submitting my British citizen application next month. I have 2 references:

** One chartered engineer
** One GP manager

Both is British and has provided everything except passport number, don’t feel comfortable doing that.

Is that ok as long as home office can contact them to obtain?
