Hi
I arrived UK in May 2009 on Tier-1(General) visa. I got job in May 2010. I got my ILR in Feb 2014. I am now planning to apply for Naturalization. There is an employment details page in AN form where one has to enter employment details since enter in UK. Do I need to mention my first year as "unemployed" ? If yes then what all documents I need to supply to show that I was actively looking for job and how I was supporting myself.

Any justification you want to give should be part of other information or cover letter. This is a very direct question which needs a factual answer. Just start and end date of employments you had. It is what it is

Employment is not mandatory for citizenship. If you were unemployed, then that is all you need to write in the form.
