BC and drinking & driving offence

Hi,
I was wondering if anybody has similar experience and what was the outcome. I'm wanting to apply for British citizenship, but have drinking & driving offence that I have made in 2010. Would it be classed as not minor offences even after 7 years now in 2017? Many thanks for any advice or sharing your experience.
