Thank you for your help from in advance, much much appreciated.
Am an EEA family member(Egyptian Husband to Lithuanian national)
I obtained the PR Card last September and I believe I can apply for the British Passport now which is one year after.
I have 2 questions here please
1- is my work history related bearing in mind I had no job till only last 2 years in UK. Am currently working and never claimed any kinds of benefits.
2- I have health issues that required staying abroad mainly Egypt for long absences. I submitted authenticated medical documents from Both Egypt and UK to cover my absences when I applied for PR.
Will long absences over 6 months in one year during the qualifying period affect my application for the passport?
Greatly thankful for your advice
Hossam

You can't apply directly for a passport. You have to apply to naturalise as British first.
1- is my work history related bearing in mind I had no job till only last 2 years in UK. Am currently working and never claimed any kinds of benefits.
You need to list your employment for the last 10 years (if applicable) or however long you have been working.
2- I have health issues that required staying abroad mainly Egypt for long absences. I submitted authenticated medical documents from Both Egypt and UK to cover my absences when I applied for PR.

You are required to meet the absence limits. No more than 450 days in the 5 years immediately before your date of application and no more than 90 days in the 12 months immediately before date of application. There is no 'maximum 6 months' absence limit.

You also have to prove you were physically present in the UK 5 years ago on the exact same date you apply.

I highly appreciate your response so thank you
My question is
Would the medical authenticated documents be considered against excess absences?
Or I must wait another 18 months till the absence conditions fit/ apply?
Kindest regards

I cannot comment as you don't state what your total absences are in the last 5 years.
