Hi, hope someone can help.
I applied British Citizenship on 03/10/2017 JCAP method + Passport. So far so good. The fee for Citizenship already gone through, got the email, done biometrics. I went to have a look at my account today and I see that the Passport fee went through aswell.
Is it normal take the money for passport now ? Even knowing there is a long wait to see if I will be granted the Citizenship ?

I appreciate any help.

HI,

Yes, Its normal to take the passport fee now, once your Nationality Application will get approve and after the naturalization ceremony you will get you passport with in few weeks.

What about if my Citizenship does not get approved ? Will I loose the passport fee aswell or will be returned like the ceremony fee ?

Unfortunately. The passport fee is non-refundable in the case application unsuccessful.
