Can I still become a UK citizen?

I'm currently a U.S. citizen born and raised, but want to gain UK citizenship. The issue is that I got arrested for a misdemeanor when I was 20 years old. I didn't get prosecuted neither convicted and my charge got expunged. Despite that is it possible for me to still enter the UK?

On what visa are you coming to the UK?
Or what basis do you have to apply for British citizenship?

Currently I haven't applied for any visas. I'm just asking will it be a huge issue for me to come to the UK with a criminal record despite how minor it is.

You're a long way off qualifying for British citizenship!
What category of visa do you believe you qualify for?
According to your opening post, you don't appear to have a criminal record.
