Hi,

In the Form AN application form for naturalisation, section 1.50 ("Employment history in UK during past 10 years..."), if I'm a contractor and getting a salary from my own LTD company, do I need to actually put down in the list all of the clients I've worked for as a contractor? are they being seen as clients or employers?

thanks!
Dani

If you get paid by your limited company then that is your employer. A client is not an employer unless you are paid by them through PAYE.

makes sense, but it's still a bit confusing when (in section 1.46) they are asking:
"Are you: An employee? a business partner? Self-employed? A director?"

So one has to check the Box of "Employee" only or both "Employee & Director"?

If it is your own company would that not classify as self-employment?
