hi, my partner has been living in the uk for the last 5 years, I've been living in Australia, we are getting married in July. When they apply for citizenship am I allowed to apply with them or will I have to move to the uk first?

No, it doesn't work like that at all. You have to live in the UK on a spouse visa fir 5 years before you apply for indefinite leave to remain (PR) before you can apply for citizenship.

You have to apply for a spouse visa from Australia. You cannot apply for it in the UK if you enter the UK as a visitor. You spouse must meet the minimum income requirement of £18,600pa for you to qualify.
