Hello everyone! I've recently made an application to the home office using form T and noticed that its quite a not common method of applying

So I thought I would start to write my timeline and encourage others who have previously applied through form T or are planning to apply to put your timelines in!

Hi!
I had actually received a quick response from the home office and had received my citizenship on the 5th of February, so it would have taken me about 3 months.

I assume the reason for the speedy process would have been that I had never been out of the country or moved, so all documents would accurately line up. However, I had a major issue with the biometric enrolment, which in the first letter, they had spelt my name wrong, the second letter had arrived after the deadline, and the 3rd letter that was sent electronically would not be picked up at the post office

so countless emails had to be sent which unfortunately, they take about a week to respond!!!

. Eventually, once that got sorted, which was around late November 2017, everything seemed to move quickly, plus, it arrived days before my birthday, so there was no need to fork out an extra £80 for the ceremony
I wish all the best for your application!
