Missing accent in middle name of my citizenship certificate

Yesterday I attended my citizenship ceremony and received my certificate. However, I noticed a small missing detail to do with my middle name. Instead of appearing as ñ it is shown as n.

In my forms for my citizenship I did include that detail and it also appears in my passports from my original nationality but a few documents that I have such as my degree certificate/license doesn't include my middle name at all.

Has anyone had experience with a similar situation? How important is this?

My understanding is that HO/HMPO don't use accented letters, so 'n' is what they would use.

I am not an expert, however my name also includes a 'small detail'. In the UK documents all names should be written in English, so they translate to 'the nearest sound and letter' as I understand. My name in the UK passport doesn't include that small detail. Hope this helps.

Thanks for answering my question.

I just needed to make sure in case it causes any issues.

Thanks again!

My wife has accent in her name which is on her SA passport. The NCS phoned Home office and checked and as others said accent will not be included.
