I would do it this way:
- first you and your partner and your son get Document Certifying Permanent Residence
- then do the Life in the UK and English language tests
- then apply for 2 naturalisations (for you and your partner) and registration (for your son)
Total cost will be around £4500-£5000, maybe more when doing the application through NCS and council JCAP.
In this case you will all get British citizenship and passports.

Otherwise if it's just about your son, spend around £1000-1100 and just register him - follow the instructions here: https://www.gov.uk/register-british-cit ... after-1983
If you have difficulty filling in the form MN1 or understanding, get someone who speaks English better to help, or go to an immigration solicitor.

Thank you very much your answer.

My son only over 8 years old, maybe this problem?
I see, need for him 10 years continue settled in UK.
So we can't do registering him this moment?

I dont want British citizenship, my wife will do if its necessarily.
