Applying for naturalisation- 12 months wait period post ILR

I have recently got ILR( 5 year as PBS dependant visa). My husband now has British citizenship.

I understand that if spouse is British citizen, I don't have to wait 12 months to apply for naturalisation but I can apply now. Does it apply even to the cases where at the time of marriage, spouse was not British citizen and he has only early this year acquired citizenship?

I am getting conflicting information. Appreciate if someone can confirm if I have to wait 12 months or I can apply now?

TIA

Correct.

Yes. Your spouse only needs to be British at the time of YOUR application.

You can apply now provided you meet all the standard requirements for spouse of BC based on 3 years residence, including no absence of more than 270 days in the 3 years immediately before the date of application and also you must have been physically present in the UK on the exact same date 3 years ago which is the start of the qualifying period.
