Hi, Could any one help me Please.

I’m british national through naturalisation. I got ILR in June 2013and citizen ship in
Dec 2014. I got married and my wife from Pakistan and my daughter who was born in
Feb 2013, came to UK on Entry clearance for both my wife and daughter for 3 years.

Due to circumstances my wife and daughter left the Uk in 2015. And since that time they are living in Pakistan. There entry clearance visas have expired.

I have to more kids born, in 2016 and 2017.

My questions are

1, can I apply for the British passport for all 3 my kids.

2, Which form to use, and where to send the application.

3, what supporting documents to send with application.

4, how long this process takes.

5, what is Adobe certificate.

I will really appreciate any Guidness

Many thanks

Kam

1. Not for the eldest daughter. If she was born outside the UK before your naturalisation, then she is not British. She should travel back to the UK with her mother and follow the path of her mother in getting ILR first. Then register under Section 3(1).
2. British passports for the kids born in 2016 and 2017.
3. See the link in 2.
4. See Timelines.
5. The CoE-RoA is an expensive alternative to a British passport for entry into the UK.

Vinny has answered your question.
Thanks, makky86.

You made some good comments in your pre-edited post.
Having right of abode means you’re allowed to live or work in the UK without any immigration restrictions, which means:

you won’t need a visa to come to the UK
there’s no limit on the length of time you can spend in the country

All British citizens automatically have right of abode in the UK.

The child that was born while you were on ILR would follow the same router as your wife. You woud apply for FLR for them and they'll eligible for ILR after 5 years and then UK Citizneship

The other children who were born after you had naturalized can either apply for British passport direclty as per link here

https://www.passport.service.gov.uk/ove ... d/pakistan

But this will take long time from Pakistan. Instead, I suggetst you get them Pakistan passport and apply for Right of abode certificate. That'd be quicker. Once they come to UK with certificate then you can apply for UK passport.
Anxiety is the worst thing

Kindly also guide me that what kind o& supporting documents would I need if I apply using that link for the kids born after I got naturalised.
Would I need to provide DNA test as well..? Also kindly tell me that if the application is successful, would they deliver the passport in Uk or in pakistan?

Also can I pls get a link to someone who is in similar situation so I can follow those posts instead of asking the questions which has been answered already.

I really appreciate what u do for people.

Thank you very much.

Just to clear, my kids we’re born in pakistan and still live there. So wonder if it’s still possible to use the link you provided to apply for their British passports

Regards

Have you gone through the link and guidance notes? It has all the links. Have a thorough read. Don't just rely on others

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... ts-group-3

Not entirely sure but yes I have heard that they do ask for DNA. If you apply for passport you'll get them in Pakistan. But as I suggested apply for Righ of Abode certificate as its faster. You can get the passport once they come to the UK.

There is a search on top-right (Took me few seconds to search)

search.php?keywords=right+of+abode+pakistan

Thanks Makky for you prompt answers. Thanks for providing the link.

When I opened the link, it asks me to register.

When registering do I give my details and address while I’m in Uk. Or I provide the details of my kids who are in pakistan , for whom I want to apply for Right of abode.

Many Thanks mate

When you register you provide your details. When you login on top you'll see "Apply for someone else" then you'd put details of your children

Was your application successful?
Was there any extra information required from you?
How long did the process take?
