Forgot to include FPN on application

I’m sure this may have been answered before. I have applied for naturalisation in Dec 2017 via NCS route and I completely forgot to include details of my FPN for speeding in Nov 2016, the advisor did ask me about speeding tickets and I said I had one and he said that’s ok. Now I stupidly didn’t photocopy my application and I can’t remember whether I actually listed it or not. I’m so worried now as I know a few people have had decisions and mine is still pending. Should I email them with the information or what do you advise?

Thanks

You should normally declare all PCNs during the last 12 months & you made this application just outside of 12 months so I think you should be fine as this is not a civil or criminal conviction that you have not declared.

Speeding leads to fixed penalty notice with 3 points on ones licence so I’m worried that it’s a crime of some sort. Should I just send them an email or letter explaining just in case?

It would be a motoring crime if you did not accept the FPN and taken to the court & get convicted. You can send them a covering letter explaining the circumstances and if I were you, I would do it as soon as possible & use recorded delivery.

Thanks brute force, written a letter and set it today by recorded delivery. And no it was never a court issue so hopefully should be fine.
