Has anybody travel after Citizenship but before getting their 1st British Passport?

I want to know the real time experience of the people if there is any on this wonderful forum?
Logically, it's not possible as ILR becomes null and void soon after the Citizenship and you can't enter UK unless you have right to abode certificate. Citizenship certificate is not enough at the UK border.

Any experience here?

My partner did - to Ireland from Northern Ireland and back but that was via CTA so not really the same...

There is also a requirement now to return your BRP within 5 days of receiving your naturalization certificate.
