Hi everyone. I am planning to send my application for British Citizenship on Monday and have finished the form AN when I came across the online application. I am going to do an individual application (hence no NCS).
If I use the online form, am I required to use the NRDS? For those who has used the online format, If I don’t use NRDS then how will I send the documents?
Is it still acceptable to use the paper application as I do not intend to use the NCS or NRDS? Thanks very much in advance for your reply and please advise if anyone here has done an individual application.

If you apply online, you will have to go through NDRS. Council will take copies of your documents and return back original.
It is still acceptable to use the paper applicaton but you will have to select NCS for that.
Why don't you want to use NCS/NDRS? You can keep your original documents and submit passport application at the same time?

Thanks Plabo for your reply. I have decided to use the NDRS and booked it already and will be applying for the passport as well. You are absolutely right it will be less hassle. Thanks very much.

I believe its not compulsory that if u do it online you have to choose NDRS u can do it online than take printout and post it without using NDRS.

1. This topic is more than a year old.
2. The paper application forms have been withdrawn in November 2018.
