Hi every one.
Can some one help me please with answer on my question. My wife did her Life in the uk test back in 2008 and she used it to apply for indefinite leave to remain, however application wasn't successful and we had to go through different rout. We didn't received back her Life in the uk test certificate as HO kept it .
Does she need to do it again or no (life in the uk test)? Do we have to contact home office for reference or we can just send for naturalization with out Life in the uk test and just let them know she did it back in 2008?
Thank you

When you don’t need to take the test
You don’t need to take the test if you:

are under 18 or over 65
have passed it before - for example, if you’re applying to become a citizen and already passed it as part of your settlement application
have a long-term physical or mental condition - you must provide either a form or letter from a doctor confirming your physical or mental condition

Ok.
But when she applied for Indefinite leave to remain with her test , application wasn't successful so we had to go different rout. Does she still need to do it or not?
