British passport Application Form-Computer Filling

Hi folks,
I have to renew my child British passport in Pakistan and i have got one question about the British passport Application form (OS_Form_010).
In the form it says you should use only black Biro pen.
Cant i fill my form online with pdf editor instead of writing with pen.
Can someone please clarify.
