Hi,
I just have attended the citizenship ceremony few days ago,as i know i must return BRP to home office within 5 working days after attending the ceremony.
I applied my naturalization application through council using (jCAP )service.
I would like to ask you, should i inform home office and HMPO for attending the ceremony or council automatically informed home office as i applied my passport same time when i made my naturalization application?
i really appreciate if someone can help me to provide what is best course of action.
many thanks
best regards,
SAM

The Council notifies the Home Office and the HO then inform the HMPO.

You're very welcome. Most of us here on the forum have either travelled the long (and sometimes bumpy) path, or have supported family members on their journey to British citizenship.
