Can i register my daughter as british

Hi,

I just need clarification on registering my 10 year old daughter. She was born in the UK, during which time her dad and I had no status.
Her dad is no longer present in the UK for years. I only obtained a leave to remain for 30 months in the last few months. She wasn't issued any stay for some reason although i applied for both of us. I wrote to the home office but still awaiting their response on why she wasn't issued a leave, my guess is because she was only a couple of months from her 10th birthday.

In the meantime, can I apply to register her as a British Citizen, despite my unsettled status. She's never been out of the UK, so within the 90 days out of the UK allowance

If yes, will we need to fill Form MN1 or Form T, a little confused

Many thanks

A child who was born in the UK and who has lived in the UK for ten years has an entitlement (i.e. cannot be refused) to be registered as a British citizen. Your immigration status is immaterial.

Form T

Be sure to read the guidance notes for the Form thoroughly.
