Hi there,
First of all I would like to apologise as I am new and may not be doing the right thing by posting this, but I have a quick question. I have recently applied for naturalization for my parents and under the:
have you made any previous uk immigration applications in the uk or abroad. I have put NO. My parents have got ILE and they meet all the criteria. Upon looking at this forum, I now think that I should have said yes.
So if any of you kind people would shed some light on it, I'll be really grateful.

My understanding is, unless you where born in the UK, you would be making some sort of immigration application regardless of what route is taken to attain naturalisation/citizenship in the UK.
Even when an application for ILR is made successfully and you are no longer under immigration control anymore (which is debatable in my view, as you still are in some way) that is still an immigration application either way.
So, in short, to most people applying for naturalisation, the answer would be yes.

How did they apply?
Were there any acknowledgement of their applications?

I applied for them online and the acknowledgement was sent from them via email.

Perhaps contact them via their email and inform them of the mistake with that question’s answer?

Thank you very much. I sent the email that you provided which is the same as the one on their website. Much obliged. Just need to sit tight and wait for them to contact us with the good news.
