Hello gurus,

I have a question regarding to my application for citizenship ?
I applied for divorce in 28 Dec 2017 and today 08 June 2018 i have received my decree absolute finally .
But i also applied for naturalization and that time i was still married and i raised my question here in this forum whether i shell be fine if i will answer to the question in the application form i am married or divorce ?
I got the answer from respectful members my divorce is not finalised yet so i can't say in application form i am divorce.

Today my application for citizenship is still in processes and my divorce is finally done and i received the final decree absolute latter.
My question is do i need to inform the home office i am divorced now or i don't need to inform them ?

As my application is still in processes and it's mention there i am still married to my ex wife ?

Kindly your answer will help me to find the peace in my mind .

Are you applying on the basis of being married to a British citizen?

No my application for citizenship is already in processes...
I applied on 9th April 2018 ...
But my divorce was in the process too...
Still confuse don't know what should i do ??

Even if you applied on the basis of marriage to a British Citizen, provided that marriage existed on the day of application, you will be fine.

Thanks for your answer but i need to tell you i was married to an EU NATIONAL.
I applied for divorce 28th Dec 2017 and it's finalised 09 June 2018.
And i applied for naturalization 09th April 2018 which my marriage was existed by that time.
My application for naturalization is still in processes and i am confused now whether i should let the home office knows or not please ?
Because in the application form i did declared i was married because my divorce was in the processes.

It doesn't matter that you were married to an EU national.
Just write to UKVI advising them of the fact, quoting your reference number, keep a copy, send by Special Delivery signed for.
