MN1 Section 3 (2) evidence of residence for 3 years

I am applying for my 2 children (under 18) for registration as British citizens under section 3 (2). Grandparents are British by birth, I am British by descent, I lived in the UK for 3 years before the children were born. On the form it asks for addresses and dates I lived there. This was from 1991 to 1994. I can look through old personal letters to find these out. It does not say what evidence I need to supply to prove I was in the UK for that time. I still have my old British passport from then, but it does not have UK stamps in it, only the stamps of other countries that I visited on holiday. What evidence will I be asked to provide to prove I was in the UK for those three years? I dont want to send the documents off without the correct evidence, but this was from the early 1990's. They dont specify or ask for evidence at this stage. But surely they will want something?
Thank you, hoping somebody else who has been through this will know.
