I'm in the same situation. My baby is not even 2 months now. I have to apply for her using MN1. Finding a british citizan is not a problem. But finding the professional is as GP/Health visitor are not giving positive answers.

The only other person suggested in this forum is a local pharmacist. But I do not know such a person personally. Any other options? Should I ask the council for advice?

Any midwifes or nurses? It does not necessarily have to be from the list of professions. I used two "childcare practitioners" (ie nursery nurses) from my kid's nursery, and that was accepted.
