Myself and my husband are EEA and acquired PR in December 2016.i am officially unemployed since July 2016,however been working part time from October 2016 till May 2017,prior going on maternity leave and birth of our second child in June 2017.my maternity allowance run out in February 2018..i am still officially officially employed as part timer under 16 hours but had not done any work since going on maternity leave.. no hate please , both of our children are disabled so I am looking after them.not claiming carers allowance though, just disability living allowance for them..so officially I am still on the company payroll books but not working.
We want to apply for citizenship but do we stand a chance since I am not having any national insurance contributions for tge past 2 years as I had not earned enough.my husband works full time.
Also, although living in UK for last 12 years we did not get WRS,although we should as we both Polish, and therefore could only apply for PR after living here lawfully for 5 years, which is why we only got the papers in 2016.
Do we have a chance to apply? Should my application be refused on unemployment grounds or others, will our children be successful (we want to apply using mm1 for tgem) if just my husband will get the citizenship?Should we put all application together or wait and do ours and than children so we won't loose too much money if either if us is unsuccesfull?
Please please could someone who knows give us some answers,I would go to solicitor but we are already stretched for money with the applications being mega expansive every penny counts.

Employment status is NOT the condition of citizenship so no need to worry. My wife never work since enter the UK and she also granted the citizenship.
However, you still need to pass the English language test and the life in the UK test. And also prove that the days you are leaving the UK not over the required limit

Your first child born before you get PR so he/she is NOT british citizen. However, your second child born after you get the PR so he/she is automatically british citizen and no need to naturalized like you and your husband.
If you are not hurry, you and your husband can apply first, then for your first child.

Up to you, I don't think go to solicitor is necessary. The national checking service provided by local council is sufficient, and also much cheaper. If you don't have anything fishy (eg. criminal records, break the immigration rules etc...), then maybe required some consultation from lawyer, that the national checking service cannot be provided.

About second child being British citizen....so we though, but when my husband went to register our son in local authority and asked if he can register him as British, they refused.he had our blue PR cards with him,but they said that he is not eligable,to our surprise.could the lady at the register he wrong?8f that is the case should we just apply for his first UK passport with his birth certificate that stays that he is Polish, however adding our PR cards with application to prove we acquired the residence already when he was born?
Already got the language test done and LITUK test booked, thank you

.
If we could save his application fees it would be grant really.

Are you sure his
British birth certificate says that he is Polish? So far as I am aware, British birth certificates issued in the UK do not record nationality.
The lady was either wrong, or playing with words. Your son cannot be registered as (i.e. become) British; he is already British!

Your second child IS british citizen, no need to register. You can try to apply a passport for him.
