I am a dual British(other than by decent)/Italian citizen married to an Italian citizen exercising his treaty rights. Our sons are 15 and 12 and are Italian, they all have their PR.
Can I apply for my sons to be registered for citizenship MN1 without their father applying at the same time and what are the chances of being rejected?

When (month/year) did you acquire your British citizenship?

I was registered Feb 2014 via UKM application. I was born in South Africa to a British mother. My son's were born 2003 and 2006 in South Africa.

Yes, you should be able to register your children as British citizens under Section 3(1), as you have British citizenship and your children and spouse both have PR (presumably you have also got their DCPRs).
