I was in involved in a shoplifting incident back in 2014. The police was called and i explained to them and i was escorted out of the shop. 3 days later i got a text message that the incident has been recorded in the police computer. I requested for a SAR from the PNC and it came out with no records but a SAR from the local police station came and i have been issued with ARD and it states in there that i have no conviction. I was due for my British Citizenship in July,2017.
My question here is if I should apply will my application be granted since its being over three years or should I wait a bit longer. Also the police say ARD is the lowest form of caution

If you declare it, then it
shouldn’t affect your application.

Do I declare at the extra information bit. Since it states in the SAR that I 've no conviction.

With regards to 3.5? I guess I 've to tick yes and then give details of the offence.
Also is the time lapse which is 2014 - 2018 Ok to apply for BC.
Does anyone have information regard ARD to understand it better and what sort of offence it is in details.
Any advise and comment will be deeply appreciated
