Citizenship Application - Help Required

I am planning to submit my application for citizenship next month, most likely using the NCS service. I hold ILR since 2015 and applying on the basis of the 5 year residency period and had a few questions about the supporting documents required as part of the application:
  • Do I need to submit payslips for the entire duration that I have been in the UK or will the P60 from the last tax year be sufficient?
  • For 5 year residency, do I need to submit bank statements from that period or will the entry in the passports be sufficient?
  • For the Life in the UK test, I do not have the original test pass certificate. Can I attach a covering letter to that effect as part of the application suggesting when and where I took the test?
Thanks for your help.

Yes, if you used that for your ILR application.

Thanks for your help.
How do you get your ILR, and what's your citizenship now?

Thanks for the response. I am an Indian citizen and came to the UK initially on a Tier 1 Visa. I got my ILR as per the usual process of submitting the salary proof for the last 12 months, Life in the UK pass certificate and my English competency.

I am looking for some guidance around what documents apart from the passport, BRP and Life in the UK test should I submit at the time of applying for citizenship.

Appreciate your help.

Just to prove 5 year residance this can be done either old passports, p60, council tax bill etc

You don't need pay slips

Appreciate some guidance regarding the documents to be included as part of the Citizenship application. I am applying based on the 5 year residency criteria and have had ILR since 2015. The documents I am planning to use are:
  • Passports
  • Biometric Resident Permit
  • Cover Letter for the Life in UK Test (my original pass certificate was not returned after being granted ILR)
  • P60s for the last 5 years
  • Don’t require an explicit English language test as I was granted ILR after Oct’ 2013
I will be using the Nationality Checking Service at my local council.

Is there any other documentation I should be taking along? Appreciate the help.

You need the evidence for English language proficiency. Don’t forget that!
