Hello dear members
I am planning to apply for naturalisation can I apply before 28 days completing one year on ILR ten years Long residency.and one very important thing I went to MoT of my car for taxi during inspection of the car one tyre found corded and they call police for this and police gave me 3 points and 100 pounds penalty should I accept 3 points and pay 100 pounds or I would go to court against this matter because I was not driving car I went for inspection of my is that fit for driving or not but I got that situation what should I do because I need to apply for naturalisation these points would effect my application if I pay or fight the case in court? If I don’t fight I will get 3 points without going to court.any suggestions I would highly appreciate your suggestions thanks.

No you cannot. There is no '28 days before' concession for British Citizenship. You must hold ILR for the full 12 months, unless married to a British citizen.

You have to declare the 3 points (FPN).

You can’t drive away with a serious defect after an MOT failure, you have little room for an appeal. Going to court risks a higher fine and more points.

But highly unusual for the police to come out that quickly!
