Hello anyone ,

I applied for citizenship online (16th July,2018)+NDRS(24th July,2018)+JCAP(24th July,2018) and its been 3months now already and when I emailed the FOI asking for update on my application they replied stating no caseworker is assigned yet to my application.

Going through the immigration forums, I felt mine was straight forward application (5yrs +ILR +married to British Citizen) and assumed to get result in 2months time. But I havent heard anything and I am worried now with the reply from FOI stating no caseworker assigned. Both my citizenship and paspport application fee has been deducted like a month ago.

IS anyone facing the same situation. Do anyone know what to do next to fasten the process ???.

You cannot 'fasten' the process. All you can do is wait. It can take a couple of months or it can take many months.

HO won't give you any updates until 6 months has passed.

Hello. I'm in the same situation. Which email address did you use to contact FOI?

This is email id i used and they gave me exact status of my application.

Not sure if this is getting delayed coz of Brexit !!!.

Ya I understand that, but 3months not even assigned to caseworker dont you think its late??.. decision making i understand since they have to get feedback from external agencies.

After assigning the caseworker and then not sure how long its gonna take if incase they have any query.
