Divorce - ILR apply for British citizenship

Hello,
I’m a Thai who’s been living in the UK with an Indefinite Leave to Remain since 2009. After I got ILR, I almost spent my time in Thailand to look after my dad (let say: between 6 and 7 months of each year in Thailand) and I’ve just gotten back to work in the UK last year 2017 and, I also divorced with my spouse who is a British Citizen. Currently, I’m working full time in the UK with my ILR visa and I’m very keen to apply a British Citizenship – when can I be able to apply it?
Thank you for your help!

You need 5 years residence to qualify and you can't have absence of more than 450 days in the 5 years and no absences of 90 days or more in the 12 months immediately before applying for citizenship.

On the date you apply for citizenship, you must have been physically present in the UK on the same date 5 years ago.

You will also English B1 test from a Home Office approved test provider and you will need Life in the UK test if you have not got it.

I assume what CR001 says is it is irrelevant whether you are divorced after you obtained your ILR. Have a look on AN guide and see whether you comply with the maximum number of days you can be out of the UK.

Thank you for your information.

If I already got Life in the UK certificate then do I need English B1 test?
Do you know how long for English B1 certificate validity?

Are they require both?

As I have already stated, you need English B1 and LIUK. It is not an 'or'. Both are mandatory.

I presume that's assume you do not hold a Degree from a UK University.
