I am about to apply my wife's naturalization.I have been told that she had to be in the UK around that dates in last 5 years. She was in Pakistan between Nov 2014 to March 2015 and we should apply after March 2015. Is that the case or is it applied only on ILR or after ILR.Please advise.

To qualify for citizenship, the applicant must have been physically present in the UK at the start of the 5 year or 3 year (spouse of bc applicants) residence period. This is a mandatory requirement.

Thanks every so much for the reply. Sorry if i am repeating myself. I am a bc so in our case my spouce's last 3 years will be counted or 5 and its right that we need to apply after March 2019.
