Hi,

Could you someone suggest if I can apply for British Citizenship with Expired Indian Passport?

ILR issue Date - 07/12/2017
Passport expiry Date- 11/12/2018

Am I ok to submit my application online and make appointment with Sopra ( New visa service) for documents submission on 10/12/2018. So that I will be making application before expiry.

If I miss that can I still apply with Expired Passport?

There is no requirement that you have to have a valid passport for naturalisation applications.

I mean I won’t be completing my 12 months.

You must only apply once you have completed the full 12 months on ILR.

which date they consider as submission date.

The date we pay and submit application online or the date we book appointment for documents submission with Sopra?
