I may be British through my father, but I don't have any documents to prove this.

My mom has told me that she is almost certain that my father had some form of residency before I was born, however said I was not registed to be British when I was born. His name is on my birth certificate, however I don't have contact with him anymore and my parents were not, not ever have been, married.

I was born in 2001, so pre-2006 meant that I would have to be registered as British, this didn't happen as far as my mother was concerned, unless it was part of name registeration or birth certificate process.

Again, I don't have any contact with him, I can't get a copy of his residency. He defintely was not a British citizen, as I know he naturalised a year after my birth, so he was merely a resident if my mom could recall correctly. As of now, I am a (non-Irish) EU citizen.

I don't think that registration as a British citizen is part of the name registration nor birth certificate process. Parents have to fill in the MN1 form before you are 18.

What is your mother's status now?
Did you spend your first ten years in the UK?

She's an EU citizen with residence permit, however this was after I was born (even though she had fitted the requirement, it was just that she didn't go through the hassle of applying for one before my birth) I prefer to not spend thousands of pounds in fee, I know UKF is £80, but again there it requires my father's documents which I don't have.

If your father was not British at the time of your birth, then I don't think you can use UKF.
