Dear All,

My wife & daughter have Spouse & dependent visa until June 2021.They initially got visa from Feb 2016.

They will technically complete 5 years (60 months) in Feb 2021. I was wondering if I apply for my wife's ILR & delay daughters. Daughters visa will be valid anyway.

Once wife gets ILR daughter will become eligible for Registration under discretion. I will have BC by then. Currently on ILR.

I am just looking ways to save ILR fee for my daughters application.

I hope someone has done the same & was successful :D

Children born abroad are expected to hold ILR (free from immigration time restrictions) before applying for citizenship.

Hi Cr001,

Means both need to have ILR.

What a waste of money
