Hi! Need some help please

I have had Indefinite Leave to Remain (based on being in the UK for 10 years) since August 2017 and I've also been married to a British Citizen since May 2015. Could someone advice which is the best way to acquire British Citizenship? Which application form?

Many thanks

You could have applied for citizenship as soon as you got ILR as the spouse of a British citizen if you met the 3 years residence requirement. There was no need to wait 12 months on ILR.

There is only one form, form AN. Not sure what you mean by 'best way'??? There is only one way, naturalised as \British if you meet the requirements.

Hi Thank you

Yes I knew I could have but couldn't financially and therefore opted to wait. Now that I want to do it, I didn't know if there had been any changes.

Any idea how long it usually takes?

Some wait a couple of months, others are still waiting more than 6 months sometime longer.

No there is not and never has been a 'premium service' for Naturalisation. You can apply through UKVCAS and get to retain your original documents though.
