UK born child applying citizenship, no home country passport

Hi all,

My child was born before I acquired the ILR. As she was born in the UK and never travelled outside the country, she doesn't have the home country's passport neither.

I'm filling the MN1 form and I'm confused with the passport section. As in the form you can choose that the child doesn't have passport nor travel document, but in the required document section, they ask for passport again and said "must".

What should we do in such case? Do we need to apply the child for a home country passport (i.e. China)?

Thank you very much for the help.

No you don't need to apply for a foreign passport.

Thanks for the quick response. We will try the application without the passport. :)
