Dear All,
(1) I am about to apply for my UK naturalisation but I would like to know if I will still be able to keep my ILR biometric Card after successfully obtaining the naturalisation certificate (I aim to apply for UK passport at a later time)?
(2) Also, for how long will I be able to keep my ILR biometric Card after after successfully obtaining the UK naturalisation certificate?
(3) After successfully obtaining the UK naturalisation certificate, can I still travel outside (with relevant destination country's visa) for a short time (e.g three months) and will I be allowed to enter UK with my ILR biometric Card (I aim to apply for UK passport after my return from the trip).
(4) After successfully obtaining the UK naturalisation certificate, does that completely make me a British citizen or not until I obtain a UK passport?
Regards,
XX

You are expected to return it within 5 working days or be fined £1000, although we have not yet had any reports of anybody being fined that amount.

Your ILR BRP may be
confiscated at the airport on your return.

The naturalisation certificate confers British citizenship on you, not the passport. However, the certificate is not valid for travel as it is not a travel document. For that, you need a British passport or a CoE-RoA affixed to your non-British passport.
