Applying Naturalisation on ILR, names on ILR order matches foreign passport but not in UK order

Hi there,
This might been posted before and part of the question might have been answered in dual nationality names section.
My husband and I were granted ILR in 2012, and are planning to apply for naturalisation.
The names in our foreign passports are in the order of Forenames Surname Middle names; ie
For example Amy LING Lai Long (LING being surname).
Our ILR was issued exactly the same as the foreign passport. Unfortunately we failed to correct that and actually only realised the mistake now. As with the UK convention it would mean LONG is the surname. That has caused issues with identities in the past, but we have other valid documents in the UK for identity purposes.
Right now we are not sure if going through application of naturalisation will end up with rejection as names won’t match/not in the right order.
Would going to an immigration lawyer help?
Grateful for any advice. Thanks!!
