Referee Question in regards to Naturalisation

Hi There,
I have two questions, the first is that I have held ILR for the past five years and my BRP expires on the 8/03/2019 and therefore was wondering if I would need to renew my BRP in order to submit my Naturalisation application (which I intend to submit later this month).
Second question is in regards to Referees, I am currently in full time employment (Apprenticeship) and have just left Sixth Form in 2018, will it be alright to put two different teachers (one was my counselor and the other my subject teacher in school) would it be alright to put one as a professional referee and the other as a teacher who has known me for 5 years??.
Any advice is greatly Appreciated.
