Hi Friends,
Applied for mrs(Indian) naturalisation based on spouse of uk citizen.
Application was made on oct 22/2018
Recieved a communication email from HO asking for NARIC certificate to prove mrs university degree from India on 5th November 2018.Requested to submit by email or post by 17th november 2018.Submitted the naric certificate by email on 12th November with in the given frame.
Recieved rejection saying due to not recieving the requested documents on 23rd December.
Fact that we submitted all the necessary docs had to apply for reconsideration by paying another 370 pounds.I have given evidence of the certificate submission in time.
Anyway recieved a letter saying no timescale as such but our application is under consideration on 7th feb 2019.
Can anyone let us know being in the same situation?
And any idea how long it takes to get the reconsideration process takes for the verdict?
Any information on this is greatly appreciated.

Did ur wife used her degree for english language requirment?

Hi,Yes used undergrad university certificate as english language requirement.

Did you submit NARIC English assessment and comparable to a UK degree assessment? Would have cost £150 for NARIC.

Yes submitted the Naric certificate cost 150 odd pounds.they are good,we rang them to pay for fast track but they assured we will get it in 1 week and not to waste money.
Naric Reinforced course was taught in english.

We should have applied with naric with the application as we know we need to with foriegn degree certificate.when we applying for naturalisation friend of ours said naric no longer required these days.we naively believed with out checking.
