Could someone advise what is the destiny of certificate after attending of ceremony? As I understand Council will send it to HMPO, immediately after ceremony. Will I get it back along with passport?

The Council send it to the Home Office, who then forward it to HMPO.

Ok, and then after passport issued? In reverse order, HMPO to HO to me?

You get your certificate at your ceremony. It is not sent to HMPO.

The council simy inform HO that you have attended and HO inform HMPO.

HMPO send the passport directly to you.

Your passport will be sent from HMPO. My understanding is that you retain your Citizenship certificate and the Council will simply notify the Home Office that you have attended your ceremony.

Edit: Beaten once again by a (fractionally) speedier CR001
