Hi guys.

Can anyone please provide the list of documents to submit for Naturalization after Set M (ILR) spouse of a British Citizen.

My wife is not working since last couple of years. I hope this should be ok?

She is not working so obviously not contributing towards NI, Does it matter?

There is question in the form where HO asks for 10 years employement history. Does she need to provide any work related documents or just employement details over the last 10 years?

Note: She is not claiming any benefits or tax credit.

Empyment is not mandatory.

If she has worked in the past, complete the question as the form asks. If she hasn't work then state unemployed. It is not a trick question.

The online form wil tell you what minimal documents are required. It is not a repeat of ILR documents.

Hi CR001 and Other experts.

After submission the Naturalisation application it gives following checklist/required documents. In the list they are not asking for English Language Certificate at all.

Can you please advise?

Also please advise if attached docs in green are ok and sufficient?

The passport issued by ZZZ for XXX: Current passport including all pages
XXX Life in the UK Test pass notification: LIUK Certificate
Proof of living in the UK for XXX: Driving License
Your marriage or civil partnership certificate: Marriage Certificate
XXX proof of freedom from immigration time restrictions: ILR BRP & BRP letter
Two referee declarations for XXX: Referee Letters with applicant's photo attached
XXX evidence of identity: Current and old Passport including all pages
One proof of British citizenship for YYY (Partner) (such as a passport or UK citizenship certificate): Partner's British passport including all pages and Naturalisation Certificate
Current Biometric Residence Permit for XXX: ILR BRP

You need to include the LIUK and English cert.

Proof of living in the UK for XXX: Driving License

Not needed. The passport is proof of living in the UK and must covering the 3 or 5 year qualifying residence period.

XXX proof of freedom from immigration time restrictions: ILR BRP & BRP letter

You only need brp card.

One proof of British citizenship for YYY (Partner) (such as a passport or UK citizenship certificate): Partner's British passport including all pages and Naturalisation Certificate

You don't need both. Either passport or naturalisation cert.
