Hi I am expecting my first child birth in the UK around end of May 2019 and I am currently on Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) which was granted to me on 15th November 2018. I have few questions below regarding my child citizenship and passport

1) Once my child is born will he be automatically considered a British Citizen since I am on ILR?

2) If the answer to the above Que 1 is YES then how I will be applying for my child passport?

3) If the answer to the above Que 1 is NO then how I will apply my child's British Citizenship and subsequently passport?

Thanks CR001 for your prompt response.
Can you please send me a Home Office link for the application of the Child British passport?
Also can you please advice what are the pre-requisites which are required to apply a new born British passport? Like Birth Certificate etc?
