Mn1 - baby travel while waiting for citizenship

Hello,

Both my partner and myself hold ILR.
I have applied my 2 year old for British citizenship through MN1 form, we have not sent any original documents to HomeOffice (new service is online) and are awaiting decision.

My child has been dependant on my previous tier 2 visa.

We need to travel next month and I wonder will my baby be allowed to the UK with his dependant visa while awaiting British citizenship decision?

Many thanks

Free to travel and rerun of the child holds a valid visa.

Hi CR001,

That is the question, I am not sure whether my baby's visa is valid or not given I don't hold tier 2 visa anymore that my baby is dependant on. Would his visa be still deemed as valid?

The child's visa remains valid until the expiry date!!
