British passport after getting BRP(indefinate leave to remain)

Hi guys,

My husband got his british passport few years back. I recently got my BRP(ILR) few days back. My question is when can i apply for my british passport now?

You have to apply for British citizenship by naturalisation on form AN before you can apply for a British passport.

You can apply now if you meet the 3 years residence requirements.

Can i ask how much is it cost to apply for naturalization through form AN. And whats the process for applying passport after that?

It costs £1330 plus biometrics plus whatever UKCVAS service you choose.

Once you get approval, you have to book a ceremony with your council. Once you have attended your ceremony and received your certificate, you can then apply for a passport, either online or paper from from Post Office.

No different to the process your partner would have followed.
