Naturalisation - Photo of the applicant

Hello All,

According to the new practice, online application and UKVCAS biometric/document check process, I have two questions.

1. What photo would appear in the British passport? is it the one we glue to the Referee form or the one that would be taking while the Biometric registration at UKVCAS?

2. Do we have to upload a digital photo along with other document uploads?

It will be a great help if you could advise

Many thanks,
Sree

The passport application is a separate process from the naturalisation.

After you get a naturalisation certificate, you will need to apply separately for a British passport. That will require a separate photo submission.

Also note that when you apply for the passport, the picture would need to have been taken within 1 month of the passport application, so it's unlikely that you can reuse the one used for naturalisation.
