First passports of two children after registration

Hello All,
I recently received British registration certificates of my two children. I applied for them after I got ILR baed on Tier 2, they both are UK born. Now I would like to apply for their British passport and have a few questions related to this;
1) I am planning to apply online, do I have to fill two different applications or one can be added in the other's application, like I did when I applied for their registration? It looks like it will be one application for each of them but could you please confirm?
2) After filling their applications, how I am going to send the original documents? Shall I send documents in two different envelops? If yes, how I am going to send my BRP (as it will be needed for both applications)?
3) I am planning to send documents by recorded, signed delivery as these are original documents. Can I do that, I hope it is not a PO box address as we cant normally send signed for deliveries there?
4) What are the required documents for each of them? Is the below list OK or I need to send something else as well.
- Child original passport of current nationality
- Registration certificate
- Birth certificate to show parental responsibility of Mother and Father
- Father BRP?
5) Who can be the person to verify identity? Can it is any british person or it has to be from the recommended professions? Can director of a limited company can verify identity?
6) If I use post office service, do I still need to send the original documents? What is the added values of using post office service?

Thanks.

1. Two forms as you are obviously applying for 2 passports!!

2. You can send them together with a brief cover letter.

3. Should be fine.

4. Should be fine yes. The checklist will tell you what to send.

5. Professional British person.

6. Yes you have to send originals. Check and send only checks the documents. Not sure if available for online passports though and might only be available for paper applications.

Many thanks for your reply. Further to this. Is my BRP required for such children passport applications who got British citizenship based on 1(3)?
Also, regarding (5) can this be a director of a company (not currently vat registered)? He served as a referee for children registration application.

Unlikely brp is required but hmpo can ask for it and it will cause a delay.

All this info is available online in the gov websites.
